Within the annual campaign for hygiene 12-12 sponsored by the Capital Municipality, Sana’a, annually with the slogan (For a capital that honors all Yemenis), PROGRESS implemented the annual hygiene campaign project in partnership with the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in Sana’a, which aimed to enhance community participation in improving personal and community hygiene in the Rabat neighborhood of Ma’in District, through the implementation of awareness sessions to enhance community awareness about the importance of hygiene to prevent the spread of diseases and epidemics. The awareness leaflets and posters were published and distributed, and a volunteer campaign was implemented to remove solid waste and clean the streets of the neighborhood with the participation of the neighborhood members and the organization’s team. 25 volunteers participated in the campaign, and about 2,200 male and female members of the neighborhood benefited from the project.
