Implementation of a sterilization campaign for public facilities in Raymah Governorate

Progress, in partnership with the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation in Raymah Governorate, today launched activities to confront Coronavirus by implementing a sterilization campaign for public facilities and places in the governorate center.

This activity comes within the national efforts to prevent the outbreak of the spreading Corona virus, which has killed hundreds of thousands and infected millions in various countries of the world, while civil society organizations in our country and various state institutions seek to maintain the safe health situation in the country, prepare to confront that epidemic that threatens our country, Especially in light of the deteriorating health situation and the delayed intervention of international organizations in the health response in these difficult circumstances.

In this context, the local authorities in the governorate of Rima work in cooperation with the Progress Organization to coordinate a set of health activities to confront this epidemic, which it launched today through the implementation of the sterilization campaign that included markets, government facilities and mosques in the governorate center, provided that efforts continue by educating the people and implementing more Activities and projects related to the health situation and facing the Coronavirus.

The inauguration was attended by Mr. Fahad Al-Harisi, the governorate’s deputy for financial and administrative affairs, and Mr. Hilal Al-Haddad, director of the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation in the governorate, and the Progress Organization for Development team.
