Within the health emergency response projects, PROGRESS implemented the tonsillectomy operations project in partnership with the Medina Model Hospital and the Al-Omana Medical Surgical Center. The project aimed to improve the health status of vulnerable groups, by conducting tonsillectomy operations, during the period December 2018 and January 2019, in Sana’a, the project targeted displaced children from Al Hudaydah Governorate, due to their poor standard of living and their inability to pay the costs of operations. The project benefited 6 children and 4 girls.
