Within ” 2019, the year of hygiene and development, implemented in early 2019 and sponsored by the local authority in Sana’a. PROGRESS implemented the campaign project in partnership with the Rafie Development Organization and the Office of Social Affairs, which aimed to enhance community participation in improving personal and community hygiene in the Rabat neighborhood of Maeen District, by implementing awareness-raising sessions to enhance community awareness about the importance of hygiene to prevent the spread of diseases and epidemics ,Publishing and distributing awareness leaflets and posters, and implementing a volunteer campaign to remove solid waste and clean the streets of the neighborhood with the participation of the neighborhood members and the organization’s team. 6 females and 42 males participated in the campaign, about 3000 male and female, boys and girls from the neighborhood benefited from the project.
